The service staff is helpful, everything is ok so far. The sales staff is a bit weaker, especially the gentleman. Ivana Seidlerová from sales, great communication, helpfulness, effort to solve the problem. I recommend dealing with her when buying a new car. Her colleague is rather a scared fish.

I arranged a service with my Opel because I started hearing knocking noises from the engine compartment. At Auto - Novotný they checked the intake, found a faulty flap control, which they fixed. They said they did a test drive (I don't know how, since the kilometers on the speedometer were still the same) and said it was OK. After driving a few kilometers, the knocking started again, and when I called them, they told me that my intake was worn out and if it was still audible, it would need to be replaced for 20,000 CZK. I drove it for half a year, then I talked to the village garage, who looked at it, listened and immediately found out that the fuel tank vent valve was knocking and that I should have it replaced. After replacing the valve, which cost 1,500, a miracle happened and the car stopped knocking. At Auto-Novotný there are real experts.

Nice and helpful approach. They offer coffee in addition to cars. :-) They had a lot of sample cars, so you could "touch" them and compare them. They even register the car, so there was less to worry about. They were also patient with indecisive parents. A pleasant experience.
